they walked in the sixth. PATIENCE Before turning to matters of the heart, we relay this message from a fellow clog for those willing to give a hand in your survey:
Good afternoon. My name is Adrian, I am in Guatemala. At this point I am making a small studio for Guatemalan champurrado export to the U.S., specifically Texas and need to fill out some surveys. You would so kind to help me? Click on this link to resolve . I thank you very much. Thanks and greetings to all fellow countrymen. Well and now it is. Comments! And after them I have great news and opportunities.
A great that vibe, you. I'm on the ground again. But I do not imagine as The Sixth
left following the departure of
October 20 through the center.
A desgraciadez as Cubans in Miami said. It walked on it, as we say in slippers. "Tagearon" with the sort of protest everything. The new sidewalks, slabs, all new statues, the walls freshly washed and painted. ALL
. Not only afearon road but also the same place.
No photos that I put that to! It feels very ugly, I assure you, and do not want this space is displeasure. It's not like there was even a well done graffiti mural, as it was in the 10 Avenue, but only without grace graffiti. Insurance is people who do not live here. I think
More youth work without much education is the responsibility of the organizers of the march, I think, see things like that happen. The nature of the spots indicates that they believe they are "scrubbing" the government, but who really are is affecting those who live and work here.
The public space belongs to everyone. It is our shared environment, property and assets
not the government but of all citizens. The Sixth
is a space not usually used mostly by the country's elite, but by ordinary people. Students who walk after the study, those who work and live here, simple people who do one-sixth of its Sunday, dads who want to take pictures of children perched on colorful jaguars, etc.
Indeed, one of the graffiti reads something like "More money for education and not for middle-class streets." Well, I do not disagree. Sure that we should invest much more on education than on the decoration of the city! But it is very easy to understand that the Municipality, by its nature, is only the administration of the city deals with its streets, waterways, cleaning, etc. Whether or not doing a good job could be a matter of debate, but the municipality has nothing to do with the educational system in Guatemala. That we have to claim the central government and its Ministry of Education. Customers therefore have nothing to do with the beautification. Or perhaps they believe they have given a penny to make up the Sixth?
More logical would be to go to deface the Ministry of Education and
stating that I am not suggesting that you do . I suggest, if both are interested in the subject, forming committees, get involved in the political process through legitimate means and to lobby for better education in Guatemala. Or do you really think that defacing the Sixth now if you gave 'to think' to 'the powerful' ... who never set foot in the sixth?
Fortunately, those are things that chemicals, paint and rubbed soap can be good writing. But I call upon the organizers of these marches please make awareness among its youth participants to not give this kind of situation. Much has changed respect and loyalty in public, for example, is perceived as
La Huelga de Dolores since no longer do such things.
These marches are necessary for democracy and are part of our history and culture, but should follow basic rules of civility. I do not think too much to ask. Changing

At the source of laundry Street Trees
SI What was nice the
October 20 was the festival that was made in honor of Don Poncho Bauer Paiz
in the historic
Street Trees. Nice day, got a lot of people, poets and well-known artists (Alejandro Arriaza, Gad Echeverria, The louts), bookstores put stands, was from Saul Mendez Gauchitos to providing food, in short, everything to everyone. All day!
What I was to discover was a pile old public washing those beautiful type! There were an illustrative display of Guatemalan renowned poets. Going back to the battery, is a fantastic place to go and take pictures or just sit and enjoy the cool of the evening. Is empty of water and had gotten a child marabuntita temptation to play in the big pile. It is from these small (but large) is a treasure for old corners of these neighborhoods.

Gossip: Continued gossip of the post before this, it is known that I discussed in the media
if you have wanted to follow up the issue that I mentioned in my last post, the news that some downtown bar owners argue that they are harassed by a government units (not being clear on exactly what). However, for reasons of ethics and journalistic standards, need to interview the persons concerned and put names and events defined. Otherwise, everything is as "rumors" and that's not good journalism. That is a very good point.
I totally agree with that. So far, however, nobody wanted to argue publicly encourage your complaint and Could not do anything about it. I understand the position of the media and unfortunately, whoever that their complaints are attended to, have to go openly to the media and if necessary, the courts, because otherwise nothing is accomplished and can be seen if these are only rumors or complaints on the basis of which abound. Alli if you no way.
And finally just wanted to tell them the other day I had a meeting at Casa de Cervantes
and asked all the day's lunch (which is very rich). I, however, ordered a bag of beans Nachita. Because I have already told the beans from there right? They have no idea of teasing I endured for calling a bean bag lunch!
For lunch and nobody came to take away delicious. Even so, everyone wanted to chop of my beans and over, declared very impressed. She who laughs last laughs best.
ja. ja. ja. Speaking of, there in
Cervantes House is now a very good library and I tell it to go see the exhibition of paintings they have there for a painter of Huehuetenango (whose name I forget but has won awards international). Unfortunately, as I still have not won the lottery (
and grouper, and simple! ), I can not buy any, but I super highly recommend that you take a Pasadita to cash them to see. With great social significance, colors and fantastic design. When great people, I could paint like that!
Alegrísimo was also the conclusion at Central Bar
(Ex-Centric) by October 20, nor could the people. I admit I am biased by that little bar (in case you had not noticed), because I love the nachos and the environment, like going to see the exhibits that are always in the gallery above. I also love their environment
Tacos Tequila and its history,
The Portalito .
And to see that they have to be proud of
@ s Historical Center, was having breakfast with fruit granola (homemade granola) of
Quality Hotel and chatting with a group of American journalists who went Incidentally, commented that they had so impressed the
Historical Center is going to stay a few days longer than planned.
Pa 'to see! Foreigners appreciate more about us than many of us.
